This scholarship is more than financial support. It is an investment in future leaders who will shape the health of our communities for years to come.

Community Back-to-School Event

Join us for a fun-filled Community Back-to-School Event as we help students and families prepare for a successful school year! Families will enjoy free school supplies, wellness resources, community support services, and exciting activities for children in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
Come out for music, inflatables, face painting, splash pad access, health screenings, book mobile, clothing drive, educational resources, and more. Complimentary lunch/light refreshments will also be available while supplies last.

Steps to Wellness Walk & Health Fair

Join us for the Steps to Wellness Walk & Health Fair — let’s get moving!
We’ll kick off the day with a fun, all-ages group mall walk designed to promote physical activity in a safe and welcoming environment. After the walk, explore a dynamic health fair featuring free screenings, educational workshops, wellness vendors, giveaways, and interactive activities focused on simple, everyday healthy living.

Community Care Fair
Location: First Baptist Church of College Hill
Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
A day of dignity, compassion, and hope. The Community Care Fair is dedicated to serving individuals experiencing housing insecurity and hardship. Guests will receive showers, meals, clothing support, hygiene kits, and direct access to essential community resources and care providers.
With uplifting music and a welcoming atmosphere, this event is designed to restore hope and connect individuals to services that support long-term stability.

Conquer Cancer Walk/Run & Health Fair
Location: Rowlett Park
Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Move with purpose. Honor with heart. Celebrate survivorship.
This powerful community event brings together survivors, families, and supporters to raise awareness about prevention, early detection, and hope. Participants can register for the walk/run through RunSignUp, with timed race options, awards for top finishers, and medals for all participants.
Kids will receive special swag bags, and the celebration continues with a health fair featuring free screenings, performances, interactive games, food trucks, local vendors, and a live DJ. The health fair is open to all — no registration required.
